8:00pm EST - 11.6.10: So, it's now or never. Today was full of emotion on a level I could not have ever imagined, I woke up and headed out to Staten Island to check out the start area with my parents. Check out this pic of my Momma and I in the Blue Wave 1 Corral - where I will be tomorrow morning around 8am EST full of nerves and excitement!

In addition I was able to take my parents around the area since they cannot be at the start, only racers can be at the start. Makes sense with 55,000 of us starting from 7:30 to 10:30am tomorrow in this small area.

Anyway from there, I went back to Ryan and Lindsey's to stretch, put on KT Tape on my shins and knees to notice I had burned my skin from a combination of too much Tiger Balm and leaving two bags of ice on my left leg last night. I think I am making it as hard as possible for myself before race day - I swear.

Either way, I headed up town to get my green racing shirt labeled with "4MOMMA.com" on the front of it. Then off to the Nike Town store on 57th Street to get my nephew Isaac some new 'lime green" Nike sneakers, and a new racing jacket and running socks for myself. From there we all grabbed dinner - Momma, Pops, Sarah, Barry, Isaac and Clara - it was super nice, but I was too nervous and ended up being very quiet.

Well, now it's time for me to just relax and enjoy "Starsky and Hutch" on HBO with Carmen Electra and Amy Smart taking down Owen Wilson. Gotta tell you I look forward to enjoying the simple things again and a nice Kettle One and soda with lemon :)
